It is very easy for me to reminisce and thank Lara for many wonderful things. My first successful summit climb of Rainier, social connections which are so apparent on this site and most important to me, how she welcomed and made my wife (Ashley) feel good each time we got together.
What I am having trouble with is finding any way that I can help Chad. The loss that has come to him is more than any husband should ever have to take on. I only hope that someday, someway, I can shoulder a small amount of his pain to help him get through this sorrow.
This one is for you Chad, I hope that I can provide you with a little support. I will be your friend forever.
